The Rapid–HYDRO 2-4-0.2 Story
It has long been known that fish contain the essential nutrients required for plants to flourish. Native Americans first taught the early colonists how to use fish as a fertilizer, helping keep a young nation fed. Listening to history, Rapid Growth Nutrients makes its Rapid–HYDRO fertilizer with fish and fish by-products, all fresh-caught in the cold and deep, mineral rich waters of the Pacific Northwest. Fish—one of nature’s best fertilizers.
Rapid–HYDRO is approved for use in organic production and has no negative effects on plants, soil or the environment. Proprietary processes help retain nature’s balance of nutrients that plants need to thrive.
It’s all about the soil. Whether sandy, loam or clay, soil that has been subjected to overuse of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides and pesticides is nutritionally depleted. With repeated use of Rapid–HYDRO, through fertigation, drip irrigation, or foliar application, soil will respond rapidly and be restored to a more viable state.
When used as a foliar, over application is not a problem. Rapid–HYDRO is absorbed immediately and directly through leaf surfaces; any residual fertilizer soaks into the soil and is taken up through the plant root structure. Even under less than ideal weather conditions, no fertilizer is wasted and foliage will never burn from over-use.
The natural fish oils contained in Rapid–HYDRO stimulate the microbial action that releases nutrients for rapid and efficient uptake by the plants through foliage and soil. This microbial action continues to enrich the soil post-harvest, reducing the amount of product required when applied to subsequent crops.
Conventional chemical fertilizer use can lead to a gradual depletion of micronutrients and an increased use of artificial macronutrients to offset inferior plant quality and lower crop yields. Also, with the increase in conventional fertilizer use and over watering, there is a danger of polluted runoff spreading to nearby water bodies.
This ineffective, expensive and ecologically hazardous cycle of needing more and more artificial fertilizer to do less and less work for plants, soil and farmers can be easily and rapidly broken with the use of Rapid–HYDRO.
The Rapid–HYDRO result: nutrient-enriched plants and healthier soil in which to grow them.
